Welcome UHN and NPP Members! 

Universal Health Network (UHN) and Nevada Preferred Professionals (NPP) are preferred provider organizations (PPO) with corporate headquarters in Reno and staff in Las Vegas.  NPP, the oldest preferred provider network in Nevada, was established in 1982 and aquired by UHN in 2001.  UHN was founded by our parent company, Universal Health Services (UHS).  Our networks offer a statewide comprehensive choice of qualified healthcare providers in Nevada and surrounding areas.

What is the difference between UHN and NPP?

The networks offer different provider panels and discounts.  Not all providers participate in both networks.  This allows our clients the choice of providers and discounts that best serve their needs.

On this website our networks are collectively referred to as UHN/NPP.  The member's health insurance identification (ID) card contains either the UHN or NPP logo for easy identification of the correct network and selection of providers available to them.
